What is a CSV File?

CSV stands for Comma-Separated Values. It's a simple text format used to store tables and spreadsheet-style data.

Example:

Project,Client,Total Hours,Rate/Hr,Expenses,Total Miles,Total Billed
Website Redesign,Acme Corp,35,50,120,42,1870
  

You can open and edit CSV files with:

• Microsoft Excel
• Google Sheets
• Notepad or any text editor
